Grapple
HKM EG25 Grapple
The HKM EG25 Grapple is purpose-built for excavators in the 18 to 26 ton class. With an operating weight of 1880 kg, this model combines large-scale handling capacity with smooth, synchronized control for demanding jobs. Measuring 2130 mm in height, 1100 mm in width, and offering an impressive 2200 mm jaw opening, it delivers superior reach and coverage for heavy-duty operations. The grapple operates efficiently at 240–280 bar hydraulic pressure and 200–250 L/min oil flow, ensuring continuous power under load. Its 360° hydraulic rotation system is standard, allowing full maneuverability without repositioning the carrier machine.
Benefits
- Optimized Cycle Efficiency: The large-bore, single-cylinder design delivers fast, synchronized jaw movement with high clamping force minimizing idle time and maximizing operational speed.
- Extended Jaw Reach: Wide shell openings with zero-clearance profiles allow effective handling of large, bulky, or irregular materials, even along container walls and tight corners.
- Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: Reinforced shells with replaceable, bolt-on cutting edges ensure maximum durability in severe-duty applications like demolition, recycling, and material transfer.
- Minimal Downtime Maintenance: Ground-level access to all grease points and removable side panels simplifies servicing and significantly reduces maintenance time.
- 360° Rotation System: Full hydraulic rotation ensures precise alignment and grip from any angle, improving flexibility without repositioning the base machine.
Application Areas
- Demolition Works: Suitable for both primary deconstruction and secondary material separation of buildings, concrete structures, and reinforced masonry.
- Recycling & Waste Management: Ideal for sorting, loading, and transferring construction debris, metal scrap, wood, and other recyclable materials on-site.
- Light Structure Removal: Efficient handling of wooden buildings, fences, modular walls, and general-purpose demolition of lightweight installations.
- Landscaping & Vegetation Clearing: Capable of removing tree stumps, roots, branches, and green waste in landscaping or roadside maintenance operations.
- Material Handling & Site Cleanup: Versatile in lifting pallets, segregating mixed debris, or placing rocks, tiles, and industrial waste with speed and control.
Key Features
- Reinforced Shell Construction
- High-Torque Rotary System
- Reversible, Wear-Resistant Cutting Edges
- Efficient Single-Cylinder Mechanism
- Slim Profile with Zero Side Clearance
Optional Shells for HKM Grapples
- Skeleton Shell: Ideal for primary and secondary demolition tasks. The open rib structure allows fine debris to fall through, reducing weight and enhancing operator visibility. It’s the most aggressive solution for on-site sorting and rough separation.
- Perforated Shell: Suitable for precision sorting of light-density materials such as insulation, plastics, and mixed debris. Offers a balance between visibility and precise material handling.
All shells are built from high-strength, wear-resistant steel and are fully field-replaceable. Depending on your operational needs, you can switch shell types to maximize the performance of a single attachment across different projects.
