WHAT DOES A SHANK BUSHING DO?
Together with the lower bushing it helps keep the tool on axis, absorbs lateral loads and reduces wear on the tool and body. Where it is used, it is a separate part from the lower bushing.
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NOTES
- Check the tool's lateral play regularly; increasing play is the first sign of bushing wear.
- If the play exceeds the wear limit in your manual, replace the bushing and the seal kit together; replacing only the seal is a temporary fix.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this shank bushing fit my Fine 6BL breaker?
A: It is manufactured for the Fine 6BL. The same model may have been built with different designs in different production years or housing types, so please compare the outer diameter and length with your existing bushing, or send us the OEM part number before ordering.
Q: When should the shank bushing be replaced?
A: Increasing lateral play of the tool is the first sign of bushing wear. On some breakers that use a shank bushing, the manufacturer requires it to be replaced together with the lower bushing; check your breaker's manual.
Q: Is the shank bushing the same part as the lower bushing?
A: No. Where it is used, the shank bushing is a separate part from the lower bushing and has different dimensions. Check it whenever you replace the lower bushing.
Q: What if the part in my breaker does not match these dimensions?
A: Send the dimensions or the technical drawing of your current part to sales@hkm.com.tr. We will identify the right part with you and, if needed, manufacture it to your drawing.
Q: Is shipping included in the price?
A: No, shipping is not included in our prices. Please contact our sales team for the best delivery option to your location.
