Nitrogen Gas Charging Kits and Pressure Adjustment Guide
26 November 2025
The "turbo" of the hydraulic breaker is nitrogen gas. If the gas pressure in the accumulator is incorrect, the breaker will either not work at all or strike very weakly. You need professional Gas Charging Kits to perform gas charging on site.
1. When to Charge Gas?
Gas check should be performed when your breaker's hoses start vibrating or impact power drops.
Important: Gas pressure changes depending on air temperature in summer and winter. Gas contracts in winter (pressure drops) and expands in summer. Always check during season changes.
2. Charging Kit Contents
HKM Gas Charging Sets include:
- Manometer: Measures pressure in bar/psi.
- Charging Adaptor: The part connecting to the breaker's charging valve.
- Hose: Connection between the nitrogen bottle and the breaker.
3. Compatible Brands
Every brand has a different gas valve thread. We have them all:
- Soosan Type: For SB series and most Korean breakers (Daemo, MSB).
- Furukawa Type: Special adaptors for F and FX series.
- Atlas & Rammer Type: Manometers and fittings in European standards.
