Lock Pin and Lock Washer: Small But Vital Parts

Most major breakdowns on site are actually caused by neglecting the smallest parts. **Lock Pin (Kama Sustası)** and **Lock Washer** are these hidden heroes.

1. Why is the Lock Pin Important?

The lock pin consists of rubber and a pin that holds the main retainer in place. If the rubber of the lock pin ages and loses its elasticity:

• Result: The main retainer pin vibrates out of place and flies off during operation. The tool falls out, damaging the front head.

2. Neglecting Lock Washers

Tab washers placed under side bolt or tie rod nuts prevent loosening. A removed washer should never be reused because its tabs have lost their properties.

Advice: Always use a new lock washer with every bolt replacement.
