The biggest fear when ordering online is "Will the product get damaged in transit?". We attach great importance to the art of packaging so that a 200 kg piston or a 2-ton breaker can travel intercontinentally without damage.

1. Wooden Crating (ISPM-15)

Heavy metal parts are never put in cardboard boxes. All our products:

• Heat Treatment: Are placed in heat-treated (bug-free) wooden crates complying with international standards (ISPM-15).
• Fixing: Secured with steel straps and wedges to prevent movement inside the box.

2. Corrosion Protection

Products shipped by sea may be exposed to humidity and salt water. To prevent this:

• All metal surfaces are coated with special protective oil.
• Parts are wrapped in VCI (Anti-rust) plastic or vacuum-sealed.
• Silica gel packets (desiccants) are placed inside the crate.

Q: Do I pay extra for the wooden crate?
A: No. Per HKM quality standards, ISPM-15 crating is free for all heavy parts (Piston, Cylinder, Breaker). Extra costs may apply only for oversized custom dimensions.

Q: Can I unload the crate with a forklift?
A: Yes, all our crates have pallet bases suitable for forklifts or pallet jacks.
