HKM DC40 Drum Cutter is the largest and most powerful model in the HKM series, engineered for 30–50 ton class excavators. With a massive torque output of 30,000 Nm and a robust 2420 kg build, it’s designed for high-performance excavation in extremely hard rock, reinforced concrete, and deep foundation environments.
Operating at 300–400 l/min oil flow and powered by a 125 kW system, the DC40 ensures continuous operation in mining, tunneling, and large-scale infrastructure works. Its sealed, heavy-duty structure and optimized pick pattern deliver long-lasting reliability with minimal maintenance.
